Positioned between realism and stylisation, this Giraffe is centred and upright, drawing immediate attention to its calm and focused gaze. Her form is true to life but I have used colour, line and texture decoratively rather than realistically.  The clean background emphasises the Giraffes unique pattern and colours, which are earthy browns, greens and ochers, grounding her in nature... The composition is both elegant and purposeful, celebrating not just the giraffe’s physical grace, but also its symbolic resonance: to rise above, to see clearly, and to stand tall in one’s truth, a symbol of perspective and individuality.
